 Kundalini and the Chakras

The deployment of the kuṇḍalinī is used in certain initiatory forms, it accompanies the "deliverance" or moksha,

that is to say the freedom from any limiting condition and allows the passage from the individual (jiva) to the universal (shiva).

 The Kundalini

Kuṇḍalinī (devanāgarī: कुण्डलिनी, from the word kuṇḍala meaning "earring, bracelet, circled in a spiral") is a Sanskrit term related to Yoga which designates a powerful spiritual energy coiled in the base of the spine.

In the ordinary man, the kuṇḍalinī remains in a state called "rest", it is "asleep" in the chakra mūlādhāra, which is the root (mūla) of Suṣumṇā and of all the nāḍī.

At this place is located the triangle (trikoṇa) with the base down and the top up, called Traipura which is the seat of the kuṇḍalinī.

The kuṇḍalinī is wrapped three and a half times around the symbolic linga of Shiva.

When the kuṇḍalinī is “awakened”, by a complex initiatory process of a tantric nature, it penetrates inside sushumnā and, during its ascent, “pierces” the different “lotuses” which open up as it passes.

The purpose of kuṇḍalinī awakening is to lead to Self-realization (moksha).

Upon awakening, the kuṇḍalinī rises along the spinal column from the sacrum bone to the fontanelle, progressing from one of the seven chakras to the other in order to harmonize them one by one through the intermediary of the sushumna channel. .

The kuṇḍalinī is designated as “cosmic energy”, “vital energy” or “divine energy” according to the authors who employ it and the tradition which uses it.

It is a form of shakti: the old term, kuṇḍalinī shakti comes from tantrism.

This concept is found in some minor upaniṣads such as the Yoga Kuṇḍalinī Upanishad.

The deployment of the kuṇḍalinī is used in certain initiatory forms, it accompanies the "deliverance" or moksha, that is to say the emancipation from any limiting condition and allows the passage from the individual (jiva) to the universal (shiva).

According to this repository of beliefs, the brutal or badly accompanied awakening of the kuṇḍalinī can cause psychic disorders such as psychosis.

Kuṇḍalinī is also the epithet of Shiva's shakti, "the Coiled One", in serpent form.

The chakras

The word chakra means “wheel of energy”. The chakras come from a system of beliefs from Hinduism.

The chakras designate "centers of light and energy" and would have a physical and physiological reality in the same way as other organs.

THE 7 MAIN CHAKRAS

Chakras are subtle energy force centers.

They are sort of swirling cones of energy.

They are located at the level of the etheric body and are attached along the spine, to the coccyx and to the top of the skull.

They are paths of passage and transformation for energy. The chakra system has the function of regulating the flow of subtle, vital energy that enters and leaves the body.

Each chakra plays a fundamental role in our entire nervous system and physiology, but also in our behavior. They act on our hormonal system. All our chakras must be balanced and in synergy so that we can live in harmony.

The main ones are seven in number.

Each chakra has a specific location. Its role is to receive and emit rhythmic vibratory energy which acts on the organs. The chakras belong to the etheric body and relate to the physical body.

On a physical level, they are connected to the endocrine system and the organs. Our thoughts, our emotions, our way of life, our daily life, stress influence their balance.

The fact of working on our subtle energies by the chakras produces modifications in the functioning of the endocrine system and this affects the functioning of our physical and psychic metabolism.

Love Love for years and in a daily practice observes the subtlety and the magic of the Kundalini and the chakras,

here is his opinion:

The attention I have paid to kundalini and the chakras for many years and their effects have brought me into a world of subtleties that I have combined with the coarser plans of my daily life, resulting in harmony and a daily sweetness of life.

This same attention, I brought it in everything that surrounds me also in my relationships, and it makes me see and feel things more clearly year after year.

Qi Gong helps me a lot to channel this powerful energy.

The passage from the individual to the universal is very powerful and requires a lot of attention and practice.

It's a whole art of living.

By cultivating this art of living, I have observed my ability to read other people and thus be able to simply help them in my exchanges with them.
